“Bansko is a surprising place, it is a ski resort with real history and hosts the FIS World Cup circuit since February 2009. It may not be in the same league, but plays in the company of St Moritz in Switzerland, Sun Valley in the USA, and Sölden in Austria. As a resort, it may still have room to grow and attracts already a winter-wear crowd.

And note, Bansko is turning into something bigger each year. The digital nomad hub grows with global significance. The summer and shoulder seasons are filling in, and hundreds of nomads are already full-time residents.

You can see the town evolving. There are at least fifty great restaurants now, and a really different kind of dining experience — it keeps rolling, progressing, and evolving.

People feel it, too. In June, I ran into a guy at Nestwork who, before he knew anything about the Guinness project, said, “We really need a central place in Bansko to meet because everybody is scattered throughout the city.” That is exactly what our project provides: a central place big enough for the entrepreneurs and founders gathering here.

And the profile of who is coming is changing. I just had a tenant who is the CFO of a fairly prominent AI company working out of Silicon Valley. These are the kinds of people these hubs now attract.

I have been to most of the nomad hubs around the world, and so has Holger. Chelsea is in Lisbon right now, watching the scene live. The global perspective says the same thing: Bansko is premier and rising.

Unlike other hubs, this one is not fighting its own town. Look at Network School’s conflict with the Malaysian government, or Bali pushing back on nomads … you do not have that in Bansko. The mayor showed up to our Bansko Nomad Fest this year, and we keep close ties with the officials who help make this place the number one digital nomad hotspot. Cristian and Uwe have been part of this community since the beginning, and our team is deeply integrated with locally owned businesses and local coworking spaces. We are not operating in a vacuum; we are building a hub inside, an ecosystem that helps each member to grow.

So this is not just about investing in an apartment. It is buying into a worldwide hub for nomads.

Do not be the person three years from now saying, “I wish I had bought Tesla stock,” or “I wish I had bought a condo during COVID,” kicking yourself because you did not buy into this premier spot while it was off market.….
